[Announcement] IP Address Migration for Virtual Private Server (VPS) With IP Range 103.186.117.X

Greetings from GB Network Solutions,
As part of our continuous commitment to provide better services and better experience to our valued clients, GB Network Solutions will be carrying out a major IP migration exercise from 27th August 2022 - 28th August 2022.
Reasons of major IP migration
----------------------------------
To assign new IP address and restructure IP address allocation. We will be moving all IP range from 103.186.117.X to the new IP Address range.
Who will be affected?
-----------------------
All GB Network Solutions clients who have the following IP range 103.186.117.X will be affected by this major IP migration exercise. This includes packages as below:
- Linux Standard VPS
- Linux SSD VPS
- Forex VPS (Malaysia location only)
When will this happen?
----------------------------
To ensure a smooth migration, the migration will be carried out in several small batches. We anticipate that the first batch of migration will begin on 27th August 2022 and that the final batch of migration will be completed by 28th August 2022.
Separate announcements will be sent out to keep our valued clients up to date on specifics such as the actual date and time of migration.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to receive the most recent updates from us, please ensure that your contact information in our Client Billing System is up to date.
What will happen during the migration?
--------------------------------------------
1. We will reboot the affected VPS and change their IP address from the old to the new IP address.
2. All data in the VPS will be retained during IP migration.
3. A downtime is expected during the migration process. Please be assured that we will keep you updated on the migration process both before and after the migration.
What do you need to be aware of after migration?
--------------------------------------------------------------
1. The first 3 octets (Example: 103.186.117) will be changed to the new IP (Example: 103.27.255). The last octet value will be the same as your previous IP. For example, your previous IP Address is 103.186.117.85 and your new IP Address will be 103.27.255.85.
2. The VPS RDP port remains the same (4001).
3. The VPS credentials (username and password) will remain unchanged.
