Greetings from GB Network Solutions,

As part of our continuous commitment to provide better services and better experiences to our valued clients, GB Network Solutions will be carrying out a major server relocation for one of our server rack R-B06 to another rack at CJ1 Cyberjaya Data Centre from date 13th July 2023 to 30th July 2023.

Reasons for Server relocation
--------------------------------
To enhance our infrastructure by expanding facilities, investing in advanced technology, and implementing efficient processes to create more space and support future growth.

Who will be affected? 
-------------------------------
This maintenance will be conducted to one of our server rack only that is R-B06 and the service that will be involved is as per below:

- Malaysia Dedicated Server
- Linux SSD VPS 
- Linux Standard VPS
- Malaysia Forex VPS (GB-NODE-FX39 & GB-NODE-FX49)
- Linux Shared Web Hosting NVMe (Hostname: nova.gbnetwork.my)
- Linux Shared Web Hosting (Hostname: neutron.gbnetwork.my)
- Colocation

Note: For Forex VPS customers, you may check your server node name at your VPS Control Panel.

When will this happen? 
---------------------------------
To ensure smooth maintenance, the server relocation will be carried out in several small batches. We anticipate that the first batch of relocation will begin on 13th July 2023 and that the final batch of relocation will be completed by 30th July 2023. 

What will be happen during the server relocation? 
---------------------------------------------------
1. During the maintenance, your website, email services, and MT4 application will be interrupted between 30 Minutes to 1 Hour. Your IP Address will remain unchanged. You are advised to keep a backup of your data on your local PC. 

2. The maintenance requires your server to be powered off. For Malaysia Dedicated Server and Colocation, to minimize disruption, please shut down your server a few minutes before the maintenance begins. If your server is still powered on when the maintenance window starts, we will power it off. Once the maintenance is complete, power will be restored to your servers. Your IP Address will remain unchanged. The downtime will be approximately 30 Minutes to 1 Hour for each server.

3. After the server relocation is finished and operational, we will conduct checks to ensure the proper functioning of the servers.

What do you need to be aware of after server relocation?
---------------------------------------------------------------
1. IP Address and credentials of your services will remain unchanged after maintenance is completed.

2. Your services should be operational after maintenance is completed.

ATTENTION FOR COLOCATION CUSTOMERS

During the maintenance, your server(s) will go offline and after the maintenance period, it will come back online. As your IP address will not change, there is no further impact for you. However, we advise you to properly turn off your server(s) yourself, and do a system check when it comes back online. We strongly advise you to make necessary actions such as backups of your environment in order to avoid the risk of losing valuable data. Our engineers will do everything they can to avoid issues and to assure that there is as little disruption for you and your business as possible. 

Important events:

- 13th July 2023 - First announcement, we will be also contacted separately to confirm the maintenance date and time for Malaysia Dedicated Server and Colocation.

- 30 minutes before the maintenance, we will provide a final reminder. For colocation and Malaysia Dedicated Server customers, this allows you to turn off your server(s) and take possible other appropriate measures. 

- Right after the maintenance is completed.

Separate announcements will be sent out to keep our valued clients up to date on specifics such as the actual date and time of relocation. For Colocation customers, if you do not receive a notice from us, it means that your services are not involved in this maintenance.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to receive the most recent updates from us, please ensure that your contact information in our Client Billing System is up to date. All information provided above is using Malaysia Time Zone (MYT - GMT +8) only.
